Ok like i said i need to buy a very good surge protector for my gaming PC, Because I have to move it and I need to have at least 10 meters of cable, Since I cant seem to find anything to buy like that I was thinking maybe i could buy cable and extend it myself somehow or ask a friend, But I guess im asking whats the best way to do it?
If it can be done?
& where could I find the supplies for it?
Update:I wish to put my computer desk in a sunbox its a type of room thats fully covered from the outside but acts as a sort of in door balcony/conservatory and there are no outlets in there now to get the cable where i need it and still have it looking professionally done eg: Along the bottom of the wall i need atleast 9 somthing meters so 10 to be safe.

== a three wire extension cord from the Lowe's or Home Depot will work just fine === try to find a cord that is 14 gauge wire [[ not 16ga. ]] leave your surge protector cord intact and buy a good extension cord ..... that is the easiest and the safest way to solve your ""need to move the PC and game system""
You can use a three wire extension to the unit. Don't use an extension that is not grounded. (three prongs) You may find this at a large general store like Kmart or Target but may have to go a business supply store.
Why do you have to extend it 10 meters? There must be another outlet much closer then that.
Just make an extension cord for it using whatever wire you need and using male and female plugs its safer that way.
