Florida is a great place to live, but it depends on what part you are moving to and what you want out of life.
Just keep in mind that Florida is one of the Top Five most populous states in the country. I live in Miami, and the cost of living is kind of high depending on which area you live in. If you plan on buying a place beware of high high high taxes.
Schools and colleges are great. If you want to save money and go community college, every county has one of those. So you'll be fine!
Job Outlook is good compared to other parts of the country. Honestly, Florida is feeling the country's economic temperature the least, because it is the retirement state. A lot of millionaires just come here to retire, which leaves a massive workforce for younger people.
I feel very stable here. Just keep in mind that moving to a bigger city like Miami, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando, may pinch your pocket a little.
Other than that! You'll love Florida!
I live in Tampa which is a pretty good city for young people. I think it's a good place for a young person such as yourself looking to make a beginning. Depending on where you're coming from and specifically where you're going to IN Florida, Florida is fairly affordable if you're going to be renting an apt. The unemployment rate is pretty high right now though, above the national average-so finding work may be an issue for you.
i think it depends on what part of florida you move to. some place like where i grew up (key largo, fl) are not all that great for teenagers, because theres not really much to do.. its more of a tourist place. but cities like miami, orlando, and tampa, are good because there is more stuff going on.
Yea it is safe for teenagers but I wouldn’t suggest Miami to violent.
