I was reading this book (it was fictional I admit) and it was saying that there is a higher self and when we die we meet up with that "being" and join together for lack of words and then it creates a new person that's born and the process just repeats itself. I love this explanation because I'm Wiccan and I've believed in reincarnation for awhile now but I just didn't know how it happened. So when I read this it just made sense. I mean that can explain why some people remember past things that haven't happened to them and how some people just know things!! Anyways lol just thought I'd share my little knowledge with everyone. But I hope people remember this is just what I think not what is nessicarily true.
It is on an individual basis as to what people believe. Personally I do. I am 100% a believer in God and Christ but I do think that it is a major possibility. Ok for instance people who at a very young age can do something no one else can.Mozart for instance. Children who are terrified for no good reason of a certain thing. Perhaps they don't remember why but it could have caused their death in their last life. And then you have Jeffrey Dahlmer. While there are many murderers, no one eats their victims. But if he were say a cannibal in a previous life from some tribe then it may not be irrational to hunger in this life for human flesh. But I do not think there is any way of knowing who you were in a last life.
I don't believe there is a actual way of knowing the real answer to this question. I believe souls are reborn not necessarily reincarnated because i don't think we can pick and choose what we are going to be. But you kinda just have to read up on different beliefs and other cultures to figure out what YOU believe!
OMG!!! you're Nick Carter?
SHUT UP dude! I've been dreaming of meeting you since I was 10 years old. I swear, my mom wanted to take me to a therapist because I was too obsessed with you and the Backstreet Boys. Everyone at my school knew I loved you guys and called me the Backstreet-Loca. Hey, did you ever receive any of the letters I sent you? I sent them from the Dominican Republic. The mail system there sucks but I prayed a lot so that you would receive it.
Nick, I need to meet you. We can go on a few dates if you want!
BTW, you totally broke my heart when you were dating Paris Hilton. WHy her?????
Hey and just because I'm into Gerard Way now that doesn't mean that i forgot about my first love (you).
Say hi to Aaron from me. I have all his CDs. He's awesome. There is a girl that comes to YA sometimes that is obsessed with him. If you dont believe me ask anyone here for "foundsomethingtodo" that's her name here.
(((((((((((Nick))))))))))
I haven't seen any evidence of this...but I'm sure there are those in the Far East who would disagree. If there was reincarnation, then that would probably be proof of a soul. But there is also a constant increase in population...which should lead to the need for extra soul material...none of which appears recycled.
You seem to key onto one sentence and obsess over it, my chum. answer: no longer all Jews concept in reincarnation. some have faith the soul reincarnates till one is righteous adequate to connect G-d whilst loss of life. some have faith the soul reincarnates till the Messiah/Messianic Age comes around. some do no longer have faith in reincarnation in any respect (greater of the favourite concept).
Yes. I know people try past life regression, but I have no idea how well it works, or anything. I don't get that involved with the idea. I just happen to believe in reincarnation. It makes a great deal of sense to me - just something inside me clicks with the idea.
I agree with Wayf too, for me it's a feeling. I never thought about reincarnation logically, it just feels like that's the way everything works. Everything dies and becomes part of something again, You see this physically everywhere, animals, people, planets, stars, galaxies, constantly being recycled even if it takes eons.
i believe in the carbon cycle, where carbon is cycled around the earth in living and non-living systems, which would include the burial and breakdown of a rotting corpse. some of that carbon will be reused in the formation of other living organisms. So it's reincarnation in a sense...
considering that the idea of reincarnation comes from countries with cast systems my answer is no
reasoning
"if you lived a bad life the appeal that you will have a better one next time would sound appealing"
now if this idea dint come from countries with cast systems it would be considered but it is not hence i don't believe it
