If it ain't stock your gona struggle to get a reasonable insurance quote on it so be wary as it could be a load of trouble.
for one chevy warm rod'ers got here up with the 383 to stay wakeful with mopar trouble-free as takeing the 400 crank an turning it right down to in good structure the 350 significant's an all of you're excellent so stop the bitching lol inventory 350 pull the crank drop 400 crank in an short rod's an whoopy a 383 stroker ... certain you may purchase a creat 383 for more suitable or less 5500 to 8500$$$$ any body were on condition that money hell no so wager what get a 70's 350 block a 60's or 70's 400 crank dont fee a lot to expose down diffently if u recognize keep's own'ers an why they did it is becuse 400 small blocks had head over heating topics becuse of the water ports wasnt drilled out contained in the heads so that you would possibly want to get an similar compression an performance on a dollar they gentle down the 400 to in good structure the 350 ....
Unless he has receipts of the work or parts... dont trust it. The only way to check is to take the head off and measure the stroke and bore. Just remember, the more modified it is the less reliability you have..which means I hope you have deep pockets.
Im not familiar with stroker banshee's but with +9 is A LOT, meaning there would be a cylinder shim that you could visually see between the block and cylinder
displacement(in inches)= Bore x Bore x .7854 x Stroke x 16.387 x Number of cylinders
