Lets say.. that there was no such thing as evolution.
In your opinion, how would you think we got here... would you then believe God created the universe, world and all living things?

There was no "evolution" before Charles Darwin began to study the world around him and realized that species did in fact change according to their environment. When he realized what his natural studies were concluding, he was appalled because of the obvious implications it would have on his belief in a Creator. It's the reason he did not publish his work for 20 years. Prior to being published, there was no "evolution" known to man. And all believed everything arrived here as the result of a supernatural being creating it. But one man discovered otherwise. If Darwin had never been born, someone else would have discovered it.
Sorry for the long answer, but it's really almost like asking "if there was no Galileo, would you believe the planets and sun all revolved around earth?" Of course I would, until someone discovered the truth.
How was evolution disproven in this hypothesis? There must have been some data that suggested it was wrong. That data would no doubt point to the replacement theory.
Rational people go with the evidence. I have no vested interest in evolution and if it were proven wrong today my response would be "Gosh that's interesting - what do the new data tell us?"
However your suggestion assumes there are only two options - Evolution (no doubt a strange version of the real theory in your head) or your god did it. That is an assumption I'm not willing to make.
If we find a crashed spaceship in five million year old strata with human DNA samples in its lab I would infer we were seeded from another planet, just to pick one other alternative.
For me to pick yours I'd have to see fossils of many current species found in the same stratum with no changes apparent over time. I'd have to furthermore see some sign of divinity in that creation process.
That's where your biggest problem is. Even hardcore creationists will never suggest how this process happened so that we know what evidence would suggest it. If all species apperared together at some time that would screw up evolutrion as we know it, but what would point to a divine creation, let alone a divine creation by your god of choice?
Even if there were no scientific evidence or theories about the creation of the universe I could never adapt some sort of fairy explanation for such a complex subject. To me that would be giving up. Just because something is hard to understand doesn't mean that making up stories to satisfy a childish void inside of you is the answer.
omg i cant believe all these atheists are dumb they
dont no anything and watch when the time comes they will see
what hit them for being sooo blind and not seeing the truth that god really does exist .. im very shocked on how many people think some scientist made this universe such BULL how can scientists make the earth i mean come on you no what i mean becasue were both on the same pagee i just feel bad for those atheists there gunna get it when the time comes they are gunna be like oh i wish i listened to those people that were telling us the truth pshh im gunna laugh at there face lol but damn mannn they need help you agree or what lol?
If we were single cell organisms like Angela said we were, then why are scientists saying that evolution cannot produce new species? If we were single cell organisms, where did those organisms come from? In order for anything to exist (since scientists have also proven that the universe has not been here forever) something had to be created at some point.
No, I really can't wrap my mind around a giant, invisible being that has the ability to just create something out of thin air, it just doesn't seem possible.
I grew up in a very Catholic family, so I was completely surrounded by people who believe this, so it's not like I didn't have the chance.
I'm just a skeptic.
Not to mention there's absolutely no proof.
Evolution is just a theory... Kinda like gravity.
I am no fan of the God of Gaps, myself, so I would have to say that I wouldn't default to the much over used 'God did it'. What I would believe, or study, would be greatly affected by it, so I have a hard time imagining it. However, I definitely wouldn't default- I'd put more effort of some sort into the study of how we got to where we are.
If there was no such thing as evolution, we'd still be single celled organisms. And I don't think single celled organisms could possibly create the concept of 'God'.
Evolution is a joke.I mean look around. With all the different species of animals, plants, people, not to mention bugs, please just tell me HOW evolution was responsible for all that.Everything on this planet has a purpose yes even the nasty little flying bitting bugs.I mean if not for the bees we would all die out.You cant tell me evolution worked everything out in such a way that we are all dependent on all types of life.Does not matter what the atheist think about our creator. All that matters is he IS.
At one point in time there was no evolution (at least no perception of it), yet there were still atheists. I like to think that my answer to the question "where did we come from" would be: "I don't know, but ignorance is not evidence of a deity."
